Invitation to the 19th CPMR Baltic Sea Commission General Assembly, Luleå (SE), 7-8 May 2014
As President of the Baltic Sea Commission, I am delighted to annuonce that the invitation for this year's annual BSC General Assembly which will be held on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 May 2014 in Luleå, Sweden has been sent out to our Member Regions.
On this occasion, the elections will be held for the BSC Executive Committee and President of the Baltic Sea Commission and a specific and important seminar session will be devoted to the issue of the Arctic. The draft agenda can now be downloaded by clicking here:
On Thursday 8 May afternoon there will be also the meetings of the working groups.

Dear Member of the CPMR Baltic Sea Commission Executive Committee,
As you are aware, the next meeting of the CPMR Baltic Sea Commission Executive Committee will be held in Turku, Finland on Thursday 20 – Friday 21 March 2014. The meeting will consist of a half day meeting on the Thursday afternoon, followed by a dinner on the Thursday evening. The Executive Committee will continue the following morning with a lunch for those participants who would so wish. The initial draft agenda is now available for your information, (see link below) and the working papers, including the proposed amendments to the BSC Statutes, that are to be discussed during our Executive Committee meeting in order ensure that all obsolete references are updated, have been sent by email to members of the Executive Committee. Practical information and the rest of the working papers will be sent to you shortly.

For the attention of Members of CPMR Baltic Sea Commission
Following an invitation from the Region of Nordland in Norway, the annual CPMR Baltic Sea Commission General Assembly will be held on Friday 31 May 2013, in Bodø, Nordland. The meeting venue will be the Raddison Blu Hotel.
The General Assembly will be held in parallel with the Baltic Sea Days that will be held in the same venue in Bodø on the 29-30 May 2013. This year’s programme will focus on the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Area, and relations with Russia, as well as internal issues including reports from each Working Group.
This year's General Assembly will be followed by the Baltic Sea Region Deep Sea Fishing Championship, then an official dinner.
