It has been decided that the next meeting of the BSC Maritime Issues Working Group will be held in Brussels, in the offices of CPMR (14 Rond-Point Schuman) on Tuesday 3 December 2013.

North Sweden European Office cordially invites the Baltic Sea Commission Member Regions to a seminar on the implementation of the TEN-T and the Connecting Europe Facility, CEF, with keynote speakers from the European Commission, DG MOVE and DG REGIO, and from the CPMR. The speakers will present the main conclusions of the TEN-T days and explain about synergies with the other policy initiatives the Northern Dimension Partnership on Transport and Logistics (NDPTL) and the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) and how all of this could be used to support the development of regions. The CPMR will give their standpoint from the perspective of European regions. The seminar will provide the possibility for players in the Brussels milieu to take part in discussions with the European Commission on the role of EU Transport Policy.
Target groups are regional offices, European institutions and players in transport, logistics and infrastructure from the public sector and industry.

For the attention of Members of CPMR Baltic Sea Commission
Following an invitation from the Region of Nordland in Norway, the annual CPMR Baltic Sea Commission General Assembly will be held on Friday 31 May 2013, in Bodø, Nordland. The meeting venue will be the Raddison Blu Hotel.
The General Assembly will be held in parallel with the Baltic Sea Days that will be held in the same venue in Bodø on the 29-30 May 2013. This year’s programme will focus on the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Area, and relations with Russia, as well as internal issues including reports from each Working Group.
This year's General Assembly will be followed by the Baltic Sea Region Deep Sea Fishing Championship, then an official dinner.
