A General Assembly of all Member Regions will be held once a year, or more frequently if required.
The elections of the President, the two vice-presidents and the Executive Committee will take place every 2nd year. The last election took place in Herning (DK) June13th, 2008.

CPMR Baltic Sea Commission
The 17th CPMR Baltic Sea Commission General Assembly will be held between Thursday 24 May 12.00 - Friday 25 May 14.30, in Umeå, Sweden, hosted by Region Västerbotten. After the meeting, there will be an excursion. The meeting venue will be Hotel Scandic Plaza Umeå (Storgatan 40, Umeå), where participants can also stay.
The programme will be focusing on renewable energy on Thursday. On Friday, there will be sessions on various policy areas including Maritime, Transport and Multi-Level Governance issues and cooperation with Russia.
The election of the President and members of the Executive Committee of Baltic Sea Commission will also be on agenda.
