Thematic Groups
CPMR Baltic Sea Committee (BSC) organise its work in thematic work groups. A member of the Executive Committee, facilitated by a secretary, chairs the group. The work is done in collaboration with the Executive Secretary of the Baltic Sea commission. Progress reports on work group activities are presented at each Executive Committee meeting. The work groups are set up to focus the organisations strength to target areas; mirroring CPMR activities or special Baltic Sea/EU related topics. The Work group act with a one-year mandate, given by the General Assembly of BSC. If needed the work group will set a new target for an additional year. Baltic Sea Commission aim to have all work groups well balanced between the member regions. The work groups are also to aim for cooperation with CPMR and its geographical commissions. Baltic Sea Commission do also take an active part in CPMR inter-commission work groups (IC), and is at present chairing two groups. Baltic Sea Commission is actively working in cooperation with other Baltic Sea Organisations (BSO) on various topics/projects.
