The WG experienced some serious problems last year, as many of its member regions could not participate in the meetings due to the financial crisis and severe cuts in travel expenditure in the regions.
However, during the CPMR GA in Gothenburg, it was decided that the WG should be divided into two WGs – namely the Employment and Training WG and the Social Inclusion WG. The membership in WGs has been renewed and a call for new members has been issued. The groups have planned a series of workshops to be held throughout 2010. One of them will be held in the Brussels office of Podlaskie, its theme shall be Life Long Learning Strategies.
